A free house specialising in real ales and fine foods

The Kings Arms is a friendly local village pub specialising in quality ales and foods. Between three and four real ales are available every week to be enjoyed in the relaxed atmosphere of the stone-flagged bar with its large inglenook fireplace.
Your hosts, Paul and Denise, have run the Kings Arms for the last 27 years and take great pride in running this traditional English village pub. Both of them are involved in the local community with organising events in the Joy Mead gardens and Paul's special interest in local wildlife.
A traditional Northamptonshire skittle table is available in the skittle room to the side of the main bar. This is available for all to use and skittles league matches are held every other Thursday night in the winter months.

Food
Paul and Denise offer an extensive calendar of delicious and varied street food and light lunches at weekends (booking required). Vegetarians are catered for.
Please contact Paul directly on 07710 214765 or email kingsarmsfarthingstone@gmail.com with all enquiries or to place an order.
The Kings Arms has been a main entry in The Good Pub Guide for the last 19 years and this, together with entries over this period also in The Good Beer Guide, The AA Guide to Best Pubs in Britain, The WHICH Guide to Britain's Best Pubs and The Quiet Pint, demonstrates a consistent level of quality.
We have a superb range of Artisan Cheeses available for purchase and have Fresh Fish delivered once a month from Cornwall: customers can order and collect from the Pub on delivery.

The Garden
Our garden has had numerous recommendations and attracts a steady stream of visitors in the spring and summer. It is highly unusual and full of quirky items, with secluded corners and quiet seating. A delightful patio area lies just outside the back door where the scents from the herb garden waft over in the summer breeze. We grow our own salads and vegetables, many of which are used in food preparation. The garden is also a wildlife haven with over 20 different species of butterfly recorded, 200 different species of moth and nearly 50 species of birds.
